Prestige Meredith

We are featuring the Prestige Meredith jumping saddle, as over recent years it has become one of the most requested of Europe's fine selection of 'quality jumping saddles', and we have had many positive testimonials from riders who have purchased a Meredith.

This model has been available now for several years, and it was developed  a few years ago with the assistance of the German rider, Meredith Michaels Beerbaum....who gave her name to the saddle.  The Meredith is a saddle that provides riders with a narrower twist, a much requested feature for today's riders, offering a centrally positioned seat thanks to the design of its tree.  The seat of the Meredith is fairly flat, with a square cantle, and riders who prefer a medium-deep seat will normally opt for the equally superb Michel Robert Evolution model.  The front blocks of the Meredith are small and the rear ones medium sized. Medium-sized front blocks are available on request.  Prestige offer a selection of standard / +2 cm / +4 cm Flap projections so as to suit the vast majority of riders. Also the option of 5 flap lengths, although we have found that the regular flap size suits most female riders. Panel versions offered are the standard  'latex', and now also the SF CONCEPT latex (shoulder free design). A flocked-panel option is also offered at small extra cost, for those who prefer this traditional saddlemaking method.  The regular Meredith saddle is finished in high quality printed leather, but is available in the “D” version with all-over calfskin lining for extra snug adherence and grip....and great looks.  The latter leather option we have always found to be more popular, but now the Meredith is available in Prestige's superb Premium LUX leather, which can be chosen in cognac, tobacco brown, or black. This is Lined Leather, either smooth or printed, notable for a suppleness typical of calfskin but with the toughness of leather.
So if you want a Merdith to use everyday this is the option for you.  The thinner covering of calfskin on the 'D' models looks super but does not have the wearing qualities of the regular printed leather, or the Premium LUX leather. We would always recommend the buyer spends a little more and buys the Meredith LUX... it's a worthwhile investment.
3 seat sizes are available, and a range of width fittings from 27-37cms., although all Prestige saddles are built on a synthetic, immensely strong saddletree, which also allows a certian amount of width adjustment.
